Across enormous distances, separate paths sometimes intersect. Convergence imagines one of those encounters: unfamiliar forms arriving at the same place at the same moment, each carrying something from the world it came from.
The painting considers what becomes possible when previously separate worlds meet. Ideas are exchanged, environments change, and entirely new directions can emerge from a single point of contact. Discovery, after all, is not only about finding what is out there. Sometimes it is about what happens when two things that have never encountered one another finally do.
