When the water disappears, an entirely different landscape comes into view. What was hidden beneath the surface is now suddenly exposed.
Tidal considers what our own lowest points bring to the surface. They show us the parts of ourselves that are easy to overlook when life is full. Our fears and our fractures, the shadows we have avoided, and the patterns we have repeated.
It is in this place of low that we have an opportunity to unlearn what has pulled us away from ourselves, and shed what no longer belongs.
There is something merciful in the rhythm of it. The lowest tide reveals what we need to see, and then for a moment, it leaves us. But the tide is faithful. It always finds its way back.
